Major projects include: Design-Build Construction of Forced Air Ripening Rooms in Brisbane, QLD, Australia, for Moraitis Fresh, Australia's Leader in Fresh Fruit and Veggies;  Design-Build construction of Refrigerated Storage facility for Chiquita/Banacol at Penn Terminals, Eddystone, PA, including special-designed care for golden pineapples, bananas, plantains, melons, and pressurized cooling of bananas. Project included modulating capacity control, modified-atmosphere capabilities, and ethylene control; Cold Chain Audit and Indicated Project Requirements for Unifrutti-Asia, Davao, Mindanao, Philippines, including detailed audit from packhouses to pier to vessel to discharge ports. Audit resulted in construction of 14 million USD capital improvements, in less than 12 months, self-financed by cost savings; Marketing Consultant, Carrier Smart-Air® refrigerated transport system; Refrigerated Care Audit, Turbana Corporation, Bridgeport, CT. Concerns were presented over uniformity of temperature control throughout existing dock cold storage facility, as well as dehydration and reduced shelf life of product. Audit recommendations implemented at once regarding proper handling, setpoints, and operational/maintenance procedures, as well as addition of new reduced-maintenance humidification systems, resulting in cost savings to self-finance improvements; Design and operational assessment of new port facility for Turbana Corporation, Freeport, TX. Pioneer of "TarpLess®" ripening system.  Started company as Philadelphia-area cold-storage construction firm, specializing in Design-Build construction of Frozen Food and Produce Warehouses, completing the Philadelphia-area's largest produce warehouse in 1994 (Holt Warehousing, Gloucester, NJ. Also designed and built imported-banana-warehouses for Banacol, Eddystone, PA and Chiquita, Long Beach, CA, 1993 and 1994). Developed Auto-Ripe technology during 1991-1992 (following period as  Uni-Ripe Authorized Integrator for Chiquita), resulting in patent application in 1993, and joint-venture with European partner Binair in 1994. Remained as Director through May 1997, when half-interest was sold to partner. Pioneered many current "state of the art" ripening designs and techniques.
